Run for a happier future

The word “children” means “future” to me. They are tomorrow’s leaders, teachers, scientists, politicians aren’t they? While some of them may be fortunate enough to have families, excellent education opportunities, great health care and most importantly happy childhood memories that will live with them forever, there may be others who are not that lucky. As individuals, I truly believe that we can do a lot for our children, our future... I am looking forward to running for them in the funniest/happiest race of Amsterdam, “The Ugly Sweater Run” on 14 December. Let’s help our “future” to be happier! :)

You can create your own personalized poster to draw attention to this fundraising page. After printing the poster you can hang it in a shop, a café window or a community bulletin board. Ask your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to help and also put up a poster in their home, school or work place. Most people are willing to help but be sure to ask permission first.

Save the Children believes every child deserves a future. Around the world, we give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. We do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share.
